Precision agriculture means using data to act in the right place, at the right rate, at the right time — raising efficiency while cutting environmental impact. Multispectral drones combined with the NDVI index are the foundation. As an authorized DJI Agriculture dealer in Vietnam, 115Drone introduces this sustainable approach for domestic fields.
NDVI & crop-health maps
A multispectral camera on the drone captures the vegetation index (NDVI) to map crop health — spotting weak zones, pests or nutrient gaps before the naked eye can. Learn more about SmartFarm & NDVI.
Prescription maps & variable-rate (VRA) spraying
From the NDVI map, the system generates a prescription map: the drone sprays or spreads only where needed, at a variable rate (VRA) rather than uniformly. A classic example is using multispectral imagery to delineate weeds, then spraying precisely — sharply reducing chemical use.
Sustainable benefits
- Less chemical/fertilizer by treating only the right zones → lower cost and less residue.
- Low-volume spraying saves water; battery power cuts emissions versus diesel machines.
- Helps protect biodiversity and the health of farm workers.
Beyond spraying: seeding & reforestation
Drones also sow seed and support tree planting/reforestation in hard-to-reach places at low cost — contributing to environmental recovery.
