What does the feature solve?
It lets you force a flight line above or below powerlines, makes routes smoother (less bumpiness when climbing/descending), and enables safe spraying along infrastructure corridors such as powerlines.
When should you use it?
- Durian/coffee orchards in the Central Highlands crossed by powerlines.
- Fields or orchards next to poles and infrastructure — needing clear altitude-based routes.
- When you want smooth routes that avoid abrupt altitude changes.
How to use it (in brief)
- Update DJI Terra to a supported version (3.9.2 or later).
- In Fruit Tree Mode, adjust altitude at the 3D waypoints to force the line over or under obstacles.
- Survey the site carefully before flying; for long-range or hilly flights, pair with the Relay Module to keep a stable signal.
